Let me jump right out to it... I believe the Cells have seen their last basketball games. The last basketball game the Cells were apart in was in January 2009, and that was the 4th game of the quickly ended season. The Cells later when on to film "The Assassination of Tiny Tim by the Asshole Ebeneezer Scrooge" which set off the next biggest thing in the Garden State area.

Over the summer, the Cells attempted to play an outdoor basketball season which lasted about 3 or 4 games, before players lost all interest and walked away to record another W.E.P.T. album.

To sum it all up, the Plant Cells cannot find any interest in playing basketball seasons anymore and I don't believe they will even attempt another season ever again. Even if there is a slight chance that the Cells start a new basketball season I don't think they will see it through to the end.

It's been a fun run for the Plant Cells in basketball but unfortunately that run has come to an end.
