ANDREW
Andrew has been a consistent player throughout his career in the NCAA Bowls Pick 'Em tournament.
Andrew finds himself falling into either the 2nd or 3rd place spot to finish out most every year. Last year he finished 2nd despite having a slow, poor start. He will look to win his second championship this year, exactly one decade after he won his first.
APRIL
This will be April's first year taking part in the tournament. And honestly, this tournament is not hard for people who don't follow college football. The pick 'em form page shows national rankings and standings, but the upset factor is on the chooser. April will look to keep the tournament trophy away from the Tougas family for the sixth straight year.
COLIN
Colin has been a pretty consistent player as well. He finished seventh last year, though ended the year with a record above .500. I believe Colin will end the year, again, with a record above .500, though the championship has avoided him for what will be nine years, when he tied Robin for the top spot. Will he bring home the championship this year? Who knows, I'm not making those predictions.
COREY
Corey had a terrific year last year, finishing with a record of 20-15, tied for 3rd place with Grace and Jim. Before the 21st century, Corey was just unstoppable at this, and even kept his winning ways into the first year of the 21st century. However, the championship has eluded him for 10 years now, and with the competition field even bigger this year, it will be harder for anyone to win the trophy.
ELLA
In what I believe was Ella's rookie season last year (I could be wrong), she finished with a record of 19-16! At the beginning of the tournament both her and Grace were battling for the top spot, though as the bowl season progressed, their losses began to pile up. I expect even bigger things from Ella this year, because when a player analyzes each pick, they end up screwing themselves; Ella has that on her side.
GRACE
Grace had a tremendous season last year finishing 20-15, tied for 3rd place. She spent a good majority of the beginning of the bowl season on top the standings, but couldn't quite keep up down the stretch, with the long winning streaks of both John and Andrew. Grace also doesn't over-analyze picks, which is a great, and will likely lead to her ending the season above .500.
JIM
Jim, more commonly known as Dad to some, finished with a record of 20-15 last year, tied for 3rd. He has never hoisted the African Musical Man trophy, though the passion to do so has always been there. I expect the passion to be there once more, but will he have his name etched in history, too hard to tell. All we can do is wait and watch.
JOHN
John finished last year winning the championship with a 3 game lead over second place finisher, Andrew. John has now won the championship in three out of the last five years, which is a very impressive feat. Winning this tournament two years in a row is a very difficult challenge to say the least, though he's done it before, there's no saying he won't do it again.
KRISTY
This will be Kristy's third year in the NCAA Bowls Pick 'Em tournament (I believe). Last year she finished in last place, 10 games behind the winner. It wasn't a great year, but most of it stemmed from an unfortunate early 5-game losing streak, and a 7-game losing streak nearing the end of the season. If she can avoid the long losing streaks, she is a definite contender for the top spot.
LINDSAY
Lindsay finished last year in second to last place with a record of 15-20, but don't look to much into it because Lindsay is a top player in this tournament. Despite last year's uncharacteristically bad season, Lindsay had won the championship the previous two seasons prior to last, and I wouldn't be surprised to see her name at the top of the standings at the end of this year either.
ROBIN
Robin just missed out on a .500 season last year by one game, finishing 17-18 and in 8th place. And just like Lindsay, (above), the bottom of the standings is not a familiar place for her. Over the past 10 years, she actuallly might be the most dominant. Between 2002 and 2005, Robin had at least part of the championship (3 wins, 1 tie for first) in every single year. Watch out, because she wants to win!
